Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is the only vinegar that we should use for our person; it is a natural remedy for various conditions both internal and external. There are two types of ACV one that is processed and has a clear appearance and the other that has the ‘Mother. It is best to use ACV that contains ‘The Mother’ a slimy substance full of enzymes and living bacteria that can be visibly seen floating in the vinegar.
Our Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is sourced from a UK Cider Mill and is made by a natural process of crushing Devonshire Cider Apples. The process to produce superior quality vinegar takes 3 years as it is completely natural and does not involve boiling and pasteurising. Whole Apples* are used in the preparation which are freshly crushed and matured for two years. After which it is left in the sunlight to encourage growth of the mother for a further year. No chemicals or nasties are added to the formula, which means that there are no chemicals to add to our bodies and the environment.
Apple Cider Vinegar for The Hair
Externally ACV is excellent for cleansing the hair due to the low pH so it can be used as a final rinse as it causes the cuticles (flaps on the external layer of the hair) to close. It doesn’t strip the hair like harsh shampoos and after using it the hair will have a high shine and feel detangled. ACV also removes build up on the hair and scalp allowing the hair to receive any products applied after the rinse, thus acting quite like a clarifying shampoo. We recommend using 1 part ACV to 2 parts water. The strong smell will disappear as the hair dries.
Dandruff and Itchy Scalp
Acids and enzymes in Apple Cider Vinegar kill the bacteria Bottle Bacillus, which clogs the follicles and can contribute to many scalp and hair conditions such as dandruff, itchy scalp, falling hair and baldness. Spray the hair and scalp with diluted vinegar allow this to sit on the scalp for 5-10 minutes then rinse. If you feel that your hair needs additional moisture after the ACV treatment then do a deep condition with a moisturising conditioner.
Apple Cider Vinegar for the Skin
ACV is also known to help reduce the appearance of blemishes on the skin and pimples. I had a mosquito bite and immediately decided to use the ACV, within an hour the swelling went down. There are others who have similar experiences using our vinegar on spots and skin irritations.
Apple Cider Vinegar Internally
Many people who desire to lose weight have found that the acetic acid present in ACV responds to the body fat as it helps to break the fats down rather than store them. Consumers have found that they lose weight in a short space of time. ACV is also known to help stabilise the body’s pH and encourage an alkaline balance necessary for good health, as disease loves an acidic body. ACV is known to help detox the body. It is recommended to take 1 teaspoon with a tall glass of water.
ACV for Cleaning
ACV like malt and white vinegar can be used for cleaning. It gives glass a high shine and has been known to help remove flees from pets.
* Not all companies use whole apples some use the apple trash.
“I was amazed to see customers step back after smelling a bottle of Arise and Shine’s UK sourced ACV. I realised that many people who came to our stand were expecting it to smell like white vinegar. Well they were in for a rude awakening as our ACV smells like cider (which it should do) and has the mother with it!” Which contributes to the outstanding and award winning Vinegar.
Please do a patch test first and ALWAYS dilute this product whether taken internally or externally.
Warnings
Diabetics should consult their GP before use as ACV contains chromium which can affect the insulin levels
